murnau wrote:german is my native language not english, anyway it was a surprise for me that sum people misunderstood you can buy a single plugin for $15. i mean they wrote "Pick up Natives Power Pack" and "10 Plugins 15$ Each". It's understandable for me that you have to buy the whole bundle - only then this 15$ per plugin make sense (to me). no offense.
None taken. :)

However, I'm at a loss as to how you can even remotely consider "10 Plugins for $15 Each" to mean bundle. The word 'each' directly signifies individual.

not really, it is widely common that a bundle price is always lower than the price for a single plugin. 150$ at the first sight may' seems alot so they broke it down for each plugin. sure to show directly the benefit when you buying it for... yeah.. 150$. call it clever promotion? maybe.. :)

ps. i think if they had wrote "1 Plugin for $15" then.. :D

Come clean.. you were responsible for this 'promotion.' You must work for Waves or a Waves affiliate!

:hihi: We can disagree. But as a native English speaker, I strongly disagree with you. Again, the word 'each' signifies individual.

You state 150 dollars.. but there is no mention of this 150 dollars anywhere that I can see. Please explain where in this image I can see this.

In reality, this advertisement is stating your choice from 10 plugins, for 15 dollars each. And I'm not the only one seeing this, judging from the comments online.

Now, on the other hand, a local grocery stores sell items 10 for $10. What does this mean? 10 items for $10 total. Or, 1 dollar each.

the keywords being total and each. Waves used each and not total.

yep, totally agree with VitaminD here..

I had the exact same reaction when I saw this promo. It actually took me a few minutes before I put it all together, but WAVES always has that regular feature of 'single plugs for $49,' etc. So to read that there are 10 plugs priced at $15 each is not that much of a stretch.

Very misleading. And disappointing.

So many plugins, so little time...

I was duped the exact same way by the Waves promo.

sadly, I came to realize I would need to shell out $150.00 for the entire lot.

seems my english isn't that bad at all since i'm the only one here understood their slogan "10 plugins 15$ each" as that what it was.

as i said before they dont wrote "1 Plugin 15$" but "10 plugins 15$ each". you all native english speakers understand "10 plugins 15$ each" together with "get the bundle" that they meant you can buy 1 plugin of your choice for 15$??? wow!

ps. "You state 150 dollars.. but there is no mention of this 150 dollars anywhere that I can see. Please explain where in this image I can see this."

thats the point: they dont put 150$ on the image but wrote "10 plugins 15$ each" to show you the benefit. is this really that hard to understand?

Anyone know why Maschine is advertised as from $/E 249 on youtube but 349 when I click the link and go to NIs website?

In native USA english. 10 plugins for $15.00 each clearly means that each plugin is only 15 dollars, and would be available separately.

In other languages it may translate differently. To me it's not a big deal anyway, it took me about 2 seconds to realize that they didn't mean you could buy each plugin separately at that price. I didn't feel fooled.

"In native USA english. 10 plugins for $15.00 each clearly means that each plugin is only 15 dollars, and would be available separately."

but they wrote "pick up the bundle for the lowest price ever". isn't this illogical to say at least?

What part is illogical?

I interpreted the way they wrote it as being illogical.

LIke I said, it's not a big deal. I understood the meaning rather quickly. It is a rather strange and clunky way of saying that you get 10 plugins for $150.

What I really want to know is where to get brainworx XL for $129.00!

Murnau, drop it already. The ad is misleading at best and deceptive at worst. In English and in common business practice in the US, saying things are $15 each implies that you can buy one. It does not imply or is it likely to be interpreted as only being available as $150 for all 10. This was poor wording and they are getting dinged for it as they should.
