Got myself Toontracks Beatstation for €25, felt it was too good an offer to pass by.

But I wonder how much I will actually use it? :help:

Oh that looks kinda cool. Was that a used price?

Nope, bargain bin in a music store.

So it is new, but version 1.0, latest version is 1.2 (hope I can upgrade to the latest version when I register the software)

Well, in the last few weeks, I picked up a couple "Stupid Deal of the Day" plugins plus a BBE362 for half price. I just upgraded to Sonar X2. I am in for close to $300 in the Call to Action. Now I am going back and forth on whether to pick up Alchemy 1.5 while it is on sale. On top of this, Melodyne essential is on sale for $39 today only, so I have to think about that. There are a couple a Hollow Sun MLM plugins I want to pick up. All this and I haven't even gotten to the things in the Market Place I would like to buy. I say this knowing full well that there are at least 20 plugins (effects and instruments) that I have bought and have barely used. In other words, yeah, GAS attack. Big time.
This space has been unintentionally left blank.

If you use it, it's all good. I've used 99% of what I've bought (rock on!)

I have realized now that my plugin folder has exploded and become a long list of slightly different flavors, from fx to synths, that my inspiration is lacking... Before my G.A.S. began, I was quite content with simply the Superwave Pro and the Kjerhaus Classics. Now I have Komplete and feel less complete and more scattered than ever. I also have a ton of other stuff, but dealing with each GUI, seeking out well known a trusty parameters gets tiresome an frustrating, cause they are all so different. I largely blame no brainers for owning me by knowing my impulsive nature. :P I also blame the thought that, "Oh yes, I could, probably, maybe, eventually like to have one of these" thoughts.

I now have so many flavors of plugins that I do not work through the sound design as much, which is important if your seeking "that" sound... Then I get bored and tired of jumping from synth to synth.

Oh G.A.S., your a real pain in my ass!

Just found out that as I'm working at an University I can get an academic license for Synthmaster.

Pretty good deal IMO

I thought I was doing better and it turns out I'm not.

Got burned BAD on the sonar upgrade and then bought TH2. Then, I was feeling guitlty that my peeps were not at 4-1 in that deal yet (I really don't need anything else amp sim :nutter: )

Now, I'm kinda on this live kick, which I haven't bought anything yet, but ffs, ANOTHER HOST? :bang:
