I don't have the time to help you analyse it, but I can point you to a couple of similar things that might help:

It sounds like the author wanted to write Tchaikovsky's Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies the same but different:

Here's the score to that:

Here's the soundtrack to an old PS2 game that might be similar to what you're looking for:

without getting sucked into it myself, all I can say is that I think the accompaniment is just as important as the melody. It's how the melody bounces on those chords that give it that character.

Hope that helps.

You should download the audio, put it into an audio editor and loop the part you want to learn, get a keyboard, play along until you figure it out. Anyone who will "help" you by telling you everything will only hold you back.

That being said, here is something to get you started: play F, Ab, C on a keyboard. That is an F minor chord, in the "first" or "root" position. Now play C, F, Ab. That is a minor chord with the fifth in the bass. Pick out the melody of the tune from here- if it takes you hours, days, it doesn't matter. You will learn 100 times as much as from someone "telling you the answers".

After you figure out the melody, then I'd be happy to tell you about the theory parts of it.

Thank you and yes, that will I do!

And then the Theory! ;)

Personally, I'd really like to be a good football player. I wonder if there's a forum site where I can learn about this by asking silly questions and getting other people to do all the work for me?

Yes, there is. It's called footballslutz.com. Or is that something else?

I tried it with Melodyne to indentify the melodic structure, but it is wrong if I export it as MIDI. Could someone help me and give me the notes which are in the shown part? It would be really helpful!
