I'm just setting up my studio now. Whole room needing re-done, units needing built, walls needing painting. My DAW arrives next Saturday (all going well) so I've got a just over a week to finish it (oh, and also got to work my day-job in between!). Will post piccies once it's done.
Go on, tweak it some more

It's not huge. The dimensions are about 10 foot x 20 foot. give or take a few inches.crazed one wrote:Looks like it's coming along nicely there fucanny!fucanay wrote:For anyone who is interested in the studio building progress, check out the new pictures.

Right now I'm waiting for the drywall seam tape to fully dry. It's been pretty cold here and it's taking longer than I would like. Hopefully tonight I can get the drywall primer on and tomorrow night will be the real paint. Then a bit of electrical work, a new door, and door and window trim. Then Carpet. Then move in to see how bad the reflections are. Then treat the room for that.
It's been a long process. I had planned to do this last summer but the money dried up. Now it's going well, but I'm getting impatient. I haven't hardly played my drums in over a year, so this is going to really help me get back to making music again.
More photos soon.

The next part I'm interested in seeing now is how you sound treat a room this size.
Also: Do you have heating and air in that room?

blimey, all of a sudden 3 offers to host my pics! Thanks Glassback, Sepheritoh and vurt. The pics are truly pathetic, by the way!
Glassback has first pop, just because he was the first to offer. This in no way prejudices the skunk thing, vurt
