THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELLY GREAT ARPEGIATOR !!!

at last a very interesting set of ideas to build live sequences

very good work, GrayWolf !

i've been using several instances of BlueARP in AudioMulch and it works amazingly well

is there a way to retrigger the sequence from a key instead of continuing it ?
i can't seem to find this

You're welcome! No, there's not such an option, but since several people ask for it (and it's normally present in other arp's) I'll consider it.

2 lines of Arp Mod would make this beauty a full fledged Arp
monster!
Actually I can work on it only next weekend :). I'm thinking of a best balance between usability and loads of features. On one side, I want to keep it intuitive and user-friendly from the start. On the other, features are good, but I don't want to have a feature-rich complicated monster like Numerology3.
Currently the best compromise I see for features like this is to make them hideable, so they'll be off by default and won't clutter the interface, but will show up with "show extras" setting turned on.
Show Extras - Great idea, to have them, but won't clutter the screen! :tu:

GrayWolf bro, you really made a great job, well done indeed, the most perfect Arp I've ever used till now, solid stable, intuitive, logic & good GUI. I love, I truly adore it...

Only one bug, using FL Studio 10, if using 2 instances of Blue Arp, it gives me an error & everything crashes...

Thanks a lot

Yeah, I'm still fighting an issue with crashes on multiple instances. Looks like it caused by concurrent calls to some functions. I made it better last time but still can't get rid of it. But for sure there is a way to fix it, just a question of time.

Good to hear from you mate... Perhaps its a clock interfering issue?

To keep it in context, i created a topic in dev forum:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 68#5087368

I'll post technical issues there. To say simple - I found some clues, but problem is more complicated, than I expected. More to investigate.

Well, it seems I have more things to do with stability issues this weekend and not sure I'll have anough time for patch load\save :(

Btw have some idea about GUI usability improvement.
Now, to set all the steps to a certain value you have to click each step in a grid editor. If I'll make it possible to drag the mouse through this line to set them all quickly, it will be better imo. What do you think?

Another thing I did to make it better readable - for octave and semitone bars 0 values apper with darker font, so all the adjusted steps are clearly readable. The same thing for Off steps on step type bar.

Re: The FL crash. Conflicting midi? Did you set Midi outs to different channels? graywolf, what version are you on now?

I checked the video and I am really impressed with the functionality of your arp.
My main host is Reason. Do you consider to make an RE version of this plug? I would really want that in Reason and would happily pay for an RE version.

Just found one thick reason for crashes. It's so stupid... Posted the details to dev thread:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 07#5089307

I'm on v10.5, but it doesn't really matter, bug is in BlueARP and it's fixed. I guess in other DAW's it's fine since FL Studio was developed in Delphi and has the same memory issues.

Key select mode is wonderfull! I had wanted to see 8 keys though  Limitation leads to creativity though so it's all good :)

Well, I know nothing about RE standard, as well about AU for Macs. But after I'll release the VST version I'll think of it. The main concern is spare time. My dayjob is far away from plugin development, though has some relation to programming.

Totally agree. More isn't always better. The reason for 5 keys came from natural human limitation of 5 fingers per hand :)
