I wrote enough features which are not implemented yet!?rlahalla wrote:No additional comments or suggestions?
The transfer between node <=> formula editor would be nice.
My wish is, to import an existing wave - at least shown in the background for re-drawing. Better: With "emulated" node points!

Well, I meant additional suggestions. I'm just a single guy doing this with limited funds, so _all_ of these features are not going to be implemented very quickly, but progressing over time. I'm pretty much out of funds now, so it's going to be a while before any new larger features are added.Sushimaster wrote:I wrote enough features which are not implemented yet!?
Transferring between node->formula is something that probably cannot happen, or at least not without significant development, as the software would essentially need to find the best way to recreate the waveform as formula. From formula->node would probably be a bit more realistic though, and I think that it can be added as an option in the options panel (when I add one).Sushimaster wrote:The transfer between node <=> formula editor would be nice.
This is definitely going to happen at some point. I'm still in the process of trying to acquire more funding for this project, and it will probably be one of the first things to be added once I move forward more steadily.Sushimaster wrote:My wish is, to import an existing wave - at least shown in the background for re-drawing. Hello Blofeld users.
Wavetable Creator works with 8192 samples. There are so loaded exactly the First 8192 samples of a wave file.
A wavetable has 64 Waves. When we divide 8192 samples by 64 come out 128 samples.
Wave Designer can make waveforms exactly 128 samples. So you can make perfect wavetables with 64 different waveforms. The 64 new Waves must be copied in a sample editor in a row and then be imported into Wavetable Creator. I hope soon a sample import comes in Wave Designer can konvert own Waveforms to 128 Samples length.

I made some experiments today, and I came to the conclusion, that I'd like to move bezier points via automations. When moving these points vertically in sync, you can produce nice wobbling effects!rlahalla wrote:No additional comments or suggestions?
Would that be possible?

Should be. I'll take a look into it and see what we can doSushimaster wrote:I made some experiments today, and I came to the conclusion, that I'd like to move bezier points via automations. Is MIDI learn supposed to work? Trying to get it work in StudioOne and AudioMulch without luck so far...
Selecting the 'Set MIDI CC' option gives me following error dialog :
"Assertion failure (D:\Delphi Source\Library\EasyEffect\EasyEffectTemplate\eeGuiStandard.pas, line 310)"
(*) Using StudioOne's 'EditMapping' function I was able to get it to map.

Still have a GUI so truncated I can't even see the entire waveform or get at the virtual buttons required to export a waveform
so as I can't properly test what any of the versions does and doesn't there's little to inspire any further requests for now - except something, anything that fixes this... Like mentioned I don't have any such issues with any of my other plugins (there's hundreds of them, free and commercial) and it's the same in FL Studio, Orion, Sound Forge Pro 10 and VSThost. In addition it freezes up Wavosaur (latest version, 1.0.6.0) when I try to host it there. I thought Wavosaur could be a solution as it allows manually dragging the border of a GUI outside the actual border of a plugin. Appreciated if it's possible to add some sort of scrolling that could show up when the GUI isn't shown in it's entirety or anything that will allow me to use what I've paid for, it's been a while now..

@V-GER: which version of orion do you use?
I tried it with orion 8 32bit and it worked fine. No truncated GUI.

I'll upgrade to latest FL beta in a moment and try it also there.
FL Studio 10.8 beta:

Can you post an image of the truncated GUI, what it's look like?

Orion 8 (32-bit), latest version of FL Studio (just checked for updates the other day), latest version of Sound Forge Pro 10.. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, it seems there must be something strange with my system as you have no trouble with the same host - so I guess this can be hard to figure out
No idea why I've got no suh issues with any other plugins though. Mysterious.. Is there any other information that could be relevant? I haven't done any crazy modifications to my system or anything. I've posted a picture of the issue earlier in this thread and also mailed screenshots, but here's a fresh one of WaveDesigner 0-3-9-0 in Orion 8.5 (it's truncated in excactly the same manner in the other hosts so I assume there's no need for close to identical screenshots from those)..

EDIT: I see from comparing the screenshots what I get is obviously wonky beyond just being truncated, wish I had the slightest idea what's going on here...

Nope. That would be Shannon of One Small Clue (who does the programming). I'm just a user like you, but I do not had those issues and had the hosts right here to check.
Lets see, if Reason can do anything with these images/informations.
Sorry, but can't help more with this...

Just realised as I saw one of your earlier posts you were a fellow user..paulbreeze wrote:Nope. That would be Shannon of One Small Clue (who does the programming). I'm just a user like you, but I do not had those issues and had the hosts right here to check.

Some kind of feature request/suggestion from me...
I'm checking trough the presets in the Single-Cycle-Collection-01 pack. Each time I click on load preset it opens in C:\ProgramData\Reason Lahalla\WaveDesigner\Presets where I see this sub directory and can select a preset.
It would be great if there were an ability to select the PREV/NEXT preset from the last used sub directory. This way one could easily audition several presets.
Another thing that would be great to have is to display the filename of the actual loaded preset. Guess thats what the 'Default' label is for, but it does not change on preset load.
And another nice to have feature would be a mirroring option in the node editor. Ie. you create the left side on a sine wave and mirror it to the right side (as in Single-Sine-01.xml).
Thanks for considering...
There is a minor GUI issue: If one looks close on this 'Default' label, you can see that the background gradient is missplaced on the left side.

Sorry guys, been pretty sick for the past few days and hadn't had a chance to post a response. The short of it is, the UI issue is still being investigated. Thought we knew what the issue was, but alas, it was obviously something completely different. I've gotten all the UI screenshots and haven't yet been able to reproduce this issue myself, but I have reports from not only yourself, but also from one other user as well.
The minor UI issue displayed in paulbreeze's post above is something I noticed as well and will be addressed shortly.
I'm currently trying to update the Sound Repository right now so I'm going to be a little slow with responses until I'm done, but I'll get it all sorted soon
