I think Novation isn't getting out of business any time soon. It's already bought out, by Focusrite.

I'm really happy to see that V-Station is still updated.
Though I'm not a big fan of c/r... so, as someone suggested in this thread, you can always drop them a line. And so I will do now!
Btw, I guess they don't increase the polyphony to still being compatible with K-Station patches... but thats just my humble opinion!

And it's V-Station's pads that I like so muchttoz wrote:really silly mistake, as it's hard to use for pads especially. Oh well!

I think this is not a problem. They could add a new switch in Globals that would extend the polyphony, with warning that K-Station patches might not work the same way (but I see no reason as to why would that happen at all).artificial wrote:Btw, I guess they don't increase the polyphony to still being compatible with K-Station patches... but thats just my humble opinion!
So let's all drop Novation a line while they're still updating it. 32 note polyphony would be dope!

So it is a free upgrade if I read that right.
Man, funk C/R - don't care. Novation offers this upgrade for free(!!!), unlike Cakewalk with Z3TA. Glad to see that this thing is still maintenanced - still a cool VA with hardware preset loading capabilities.
I think this love for maintenance is also thanks due to preset designers all over the globe.
Good job!

Is it really supposed to be a 1:1 of the hardware? I used to own a Nova years ago and it had something called sync skew where you could manipulate the waveform much more. In addition to this it also had several filtertypes. This plugin only has lowpass, doesn't it?
and as i go check it ... it's 1:1 with A/K-station ... and those synths i know nothing about
Ha! If you read this far you'd want your seconds back i bet!

Nova is not the same thing as K-Station. But Nova/Supernova are brilliant synths, yes.Crackbaby wrote:Is it really supposed to be a 1:1 of the hardware? I also own the k-station and it is absolutely identical!
maybe compatibility is not the problem, i dunno... just sent novation a message! i'm already looking forward to hear what they have to say!
man, v-station is still my go-to softsynth and controlling it with the k-station is simply awesome! i'm really impressed with novation that they are still updating a 9 years old synth...

Yes, that's the point. It's the same code behind both.
