Since Komplete 7 it's been fully x64 Native. Now what do you feel is missing from K8 to warrant another full version upgrade?

Those new Softube effects and Maschine with the packs which I always felt should have been offered in Komplete

A new version of komplete is usually offered at the same time as new instruments are released, although this may not have been the case with the last one, don't recall.

But I would guess that the next complete will include instruments we don't know about yet plus perhaps they'll add some to the regular version from the ultimate, who knows.

GUIs... the entire synth range could use a GUI overhaul. They were designed for a different time in the past..

Really? Of the things that could possibly be updated in Komplete 9 you would choose to update the GUI's of the synths? Some of the simplest and most powerful synth GUI's on the market today?

I would too. Why does that anger you so?

I'd like to see better fonts and color selection, more information in less space, and to finally be able to break effects OUT OF Kontakt and Guitar Rig when we want. (like the wonderful new Passive EQ).

In addition, I'd like to see the parameter knobs react to encoder acceleration in the same manner as all my other effects. Currently it's like switching from low to high resolution every time I try to control a Kontakt effect in relative cc mode.

So yes, the GUI can be a bit clunky for some applications.

I know. My point in suggesting it as a rumor was that we all could make an obvious observation and add mystique calling it a rumor. KWB immediately posted a "rumor has it..." that we will not see K9 until much later. This was done right after the new box design and logos on K8 had already been announced here. It was obvious and doubtful that the source of that rumor had anymore validity than my own.
