I'm still digging it. I just wish I could use it on stage haha

That's from what Recabinet used to be, a more conventional IR pack without a GUI. Some like it hot, some like it cold, etc., Shane's moved it in a totally different direction which in my opinion has made it dramatically easier to actually use all the options available, plus some neat feature additions like being able to introduce intentional nonlinearities to help bridge the gap between the static nature of IRs and the interesting dynamic behavior that goes on with a real output section-->speaker-->cabinet-->room,mic,etc.

Recabinet 3 also was the first release to integrate all of the cabinet options if I'm not mistaken. Used to be two packages, one aimed at distorted guitar, the other aimed at cleans.

The developer could tell you more, of course, and I don't know anything about any specific relationship between Kazrog and Overloud, but I would presume based on the fact that it's in there that there was some kind of promotional thing.

Ok, so the thing is they say "demo" under the TH2 demo for impulses. Are they included? Those are just a sampling? They sound f**king great!

I'm the developer of Recabinet. Sorry for any confusion here. In 2009, we entered into an agreement with Overloud to distribute our version 2.0 IR library demo along with their amp simulator at the time, TH1, with the option for these customers to get a discount on the full version of the library.

I wasn't aware that the old demo IRs are still included in TH2, as my contact at Overloud left the company some time ago, and a lot of the old TH1 Recabinet users have since upgraded to Recabinet 3, which marked the transition point away from Recabinet being literally a zip file full of IRs in WAV format to an actual audio plugin of its own.

If you're liking the sound of the old library demo with Overloud TH2, I encourage you to try the Recabinet 3 demo. The new speaker dynamics control adds a level of realism unmatched by any other cabinet simulator on the market.

I already have recabinet, and I love it and endorse it all the time. But it's nice to be able to to work "in the box" so it's nice they have that option :)
