Great ! Thank you.elcallio wrote:No, there is only the "record on transport" feature yet. But threshold recording is a coming feature.sinkmusic wrote: - Is there any "auto-record" feature (you define a threshold where the recording will start. Veeerrry convenient to hit "record", then move slowly to a drum set, and hit a snare without worrying : the recording will start only when the snare is "heard" by the sampler's input) ?
Yes, fair enoughelcallio wrote:Not completely decided, but you should probably expect the classic stock stuff primarily. Wild esoteric effects might be outside the scope a single dev (me) can provide for €20.sinkmusic wrote: - Do you have any hint for the forthcoming effects ? Will it feature "only" classic stuff (like an eq, compressor, chorus), or do you plan to add also some randomization/FSU/stuttery FX ? And amp simulation or no-latency IR fx (the one in Independance is great, and such an FXis perfect for both giving electric piano samples some vintage feel, and also to boost drum machine samples) ?
Yep, that did it, thank you.elcallio wrote:The 32 vol+pan will control the first 32 program slots in a performance. This is because these are the only "static" parameters that exist in the TX16Wx. All others are per-group, so you need to use modulation mapping.
To use an automation control, make a mapping entry mapping the auto param->your desired parameter and set the modulation scale. Note that since modulation is additive, you might need for example to set a filter frequency very low by default and then modulate it to raise it to "play level".
Isn't it enough to set the release to maximum length?sinkmusic wrote:Me again : is there any "one shot" play mode (the sample is played once, fully, each time you trigger it) ? It is great for drums.
I asked same thing in private beta forum and there is a simple way to do this:Mac of BIOnighT wrote:Isn't it enough to set the release to maximum length?sinkmusic wrote:Me again : is there any "one shot" play mode (the sample is played once, fully, each time you trigger it) ? It is great for drums.
I still imagine a one shot play mode would be more intuitive and keep the workflow momentum moving forward. The least amount of workaround the better.Select all the groups you want triggered this way (drag select, Ctrl-a for all etc), pick 'oneshot' as trigger mode, and then dial release to max
I have a lot of ideas for advanced resampling of both internal and external sources. I am doubtful I will be able to fit it into the 2.0 (this fall) time frame though.sinkmusic wrote:Is there any "resample" feature planned ?

No, its working as designed. Remember that the parameter is not "tied" to the control. It value (from host) is acting as a modulation source for one or more destination parameters, and there is no 1<->1 mapping between them (conceptually).DarkStar wrote:Yep, that did it, thank you.elcallio wrote:The 32 vol+pan will control the first 32 program slots in a performance. Should the target control (I used the FIlter Cutoff) change visually when I change the parameter in the host? It didn't here, maybe I've missed something. Also, the parameter was still named "Param 00" in the host; should it have the target's name?
