Just bought
How does the node editor work exactly ?

If i left click i get nothing
If i double left clikc i get a point that appears and then disappears
If i right click i get a point sometimes, but most the time i get multiple points at the same spot

Image

As you can see here, double left clicking does the weird add/delete thing
Then when i right click you can see the irst time it adds multiple points at the same location, then just adds singles

Also now and again the view refuses to refresh , i can move nodes wherever but it just doesn't update

Just checked that.. maybe I should have left-click set as the trigger for multiple nodes. Double left clicking does the same thing here too, but I never noticed it before. You did, however, teach me a new trick as to creating higher and lower density square waves - I didn't realize that if I created two points that it would allow steeper slopes without the approximation. I think what I would like to do is have a know that allows you to adjust the amount of curvature for the waveform, Soounds good, let's see how much it costs me haha :)

As far as the issue you're encountering, I'm going to to take a look into it and see if we can find a solution for that :)

BTW - last day for the $29.00 intro price..

Do you plan to integrate bezier handles, to modify the curves!?

Hell yeah. I also plan on adding a knob to the node editing screen that allows you to choose the curvature of the nodes (in case you don't want to work with bezier curves) :) Those are both high up on the list.

Very good!! I hope it'll be included in v1.0 !!
I don't regret to be an early adaptor :)

Prob not in v1.0 exactly, but probably shortly thereafter :)

I've got two more:

* A grid in the background, PLEASE! I even can't draw a good sinus based curve, because I can't "measure" (visually) the distances. A background grid is ESSENTIAL! :)

* Some buttons (or dropdown) for simple curves like sine, saw, square etc. It could be a good state to start from!

The grid is a definite, and the preset shapes are also a definite :)

BTW - the pre-order program is done, the regular price is now set to $79.00

Still a great bargain at 79 (although I got it for 30 :hihi: )

I guess somebody already suggested being able to build the wave additively (using Fourier Synthesis :P).

Sure, as long as you type in the necessary formula :D

[Googles: "necessary formula"]
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Put simply at this time Wave Designer cannot handle a Fourier transform formula :D

Heh- first time I've seen this!

does "...or you can choose to utilize the custom sample length ability for synthesizers which support larger or smaller size waveforms." mean that you can export to any size waveform, without limit?
