immorally tweakable?

They just posted prices and $200.00 is WAY out of my budget for a softsynth...
I hope this doesn't go the way of Komplexer, which was priced out of existence (IMO), or will be a 'niche' synth. (For people who have more money than talent
)
I'd rather have DIVA for $179.00.....................

Ouch. That is going to make it a hard sell with some many good synths in the $129 range.osiris wrote:They just posted prices and $200.00 is WAY out of my budget for a softsynth...

Per Rekkerd.org:
149 euros/199 dollars/119 pounds.
I hate this money conversion B.S. 149 euros is $192.85, 119 pounds is $190.87. Is that because of VAT? Do you pay VAT on downloaded software? Does it cost more for Americans because the download has to go farther?

So people who buy musical instruments priced more than a couple of pizzas, or niche instruments, do lack talent ?osiris wrote:.....

Well that's not such a horrible conversion is it? I happen to have been watching the EU/USD currency for the last few months and it changes quite a lot so it's always hard to set the right price. They're in Poland so I reckon 149 euros is what they're looking to get for each sale.osiris wrote:Per Rekkerd.org:

Argh... That's a bit too much for me. It would have to be something really special and as others have said. For the money. I'd sooner get Diva.

I own almost all of their other products, which will presumably afford some discount off of list price. Still, with a starting price of $199, it would have to be a SUBSTANTIAL discount to make it worth my while. I have far too many synths already, and this would simply be a nice luxury to add to my collection. If this had started at $149 USD before discount, it would probably fare much better. Of course, they haven't actually announce the discount yet, so there isn't much to do but wait and see.

Yes we pay VAT for downloaded software. In my country it's 23%. Everything is usually more expensive for Europeans thanks to VAT.osiris wrote:Per Rekkerd.org:

Nice! I keep reminding myself that I need to make a page of plugins that don't use C/R or dongles. At some point, I'm going to need to do this. I keep finding awesome companies that don't hassle us with C/R or dongles!Cyforce wrote:Same as all other D16 plugins, very user-friendlyaudiojunkie wrote:Serious?!? Maybe the new DIVA rival?
--Sean
This is going to mean that I'll be adding another synth to my to-buy list!
--Sean![]()
Yes will be interesting to running both, Lush and DIVA, in comparision. But i guess through the 8 layer's Lush will be more useful for edm sounds, as long the CPU didn't breaks down
Thanks for the heads-up!
