Indeed, fortunately MS promised to bring back XP support to VS 2012 in a later update, see here:

In the meantime, besides reverting to an older toolchain, here is a work-around which works for me:

£43 is an absolute steal. That's ridiculous.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

Well, for that price that makes this a complete no-brainer

Seriously, what a great time to be making music, so much quality stuff available these days!!!

I tried the program. I liked the bit with the filters.

In fact, I decided to record my first reactions with it, to cherish for posterity. Oscillator courtesy the Oddity.

Thanks... Renamed or in originally named form, the VST is not showing up in Ableton Live (WinXP Pro SP2).

FYI.

:)

Can't wait to try it out.
Ok, I've changed the toolset for the v0.9.4 build to be the Visual Studio 2008 one instead, so hopefully The Drop will now load on XP SP2. Can you please give it a go?

Hmm, this is the trouble with using a new compiler. It's all working fine on my Windows 7 machine, but I don't have a Windows XP machine to test with. Let me check the project settings and see if there is anything I can find.

Do you have an SSE2 capable processor?
It's a Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600... but not sure about SSE2 or what that is.

Yep, you're fine, only really old cpus don't have sse2, but it was worth pointing out just in case.

Ok, cool thanks for the links! I've gone for the VS 2008 toolchain, so hopefully that will do the trick, but it's nice to have some backup.

Still no show here - XP SP3, Live 8.1.4

@Andy. Is there any way to reset the knobs to default value? Nothing happens when clicking + any key modifier. Would be handy for like Spacing etc.
