i know this question has been asked a million times so just please bear with me. I already been researching and most of the computers ive found either dont fit me or are WAY too expensive. I am looking for a desktop (tower or all in one but if its a tower it has to come with the screen)computer that has these qualitys

1. UNDER $600
2. Not a Mac (I couldn't live without slicex)
3. Not building it myself (i am not very hardware savy)
4.I would prefer a big screen (I just love big screens)

You're not gonna get very far with that kind of budget really. A GOOD (as in, not crap) big screen will cost you at least half that sum.

If you checked out my soundcloud and facebook acounts then you would know that i am only 13 and im not complaining but it took me a long time to get my hands on $600. (a lot of babysitting and lawn mowing)

Get a windows7 laptop with an i5 processor . Something like Lenovo , or Toshiba might be good , look for it to have a hdmi out so u can hook it up to a HDTV later on when you get some more cash stay away from the ultrabooks , or super thin Mac air wanna be laptops , theyll lack proccesor power n optical drive.

Great idea but i already have a laptop and now im looking for something i can upgrade and plus i think i get more bang for my buck if i go for a desktop

I kept researching while i watched this post and i am currently looking at the dell inspirion one 2320. Any comments? (recommendations for computers are still welcome)

I have a dell inspiron 570 and it runs every daw ive tried well got it for 800 at walmart last year its not all in one tho youd need monitor to go with it or an hd tv

I built my AMD Phenom II 6 core machine for that budget.

I would recommend doing it yourself... it really is not that difficult.

I am sure you could get even the AMD FX 8 Core machine going on for that price. It may not be as powerful as a Intel i7, but it will still take a solid beating before you notice it slowing down.

Get a motherboard with onboard video to save you money, use the onboard soundcard (asio4all) if you dont have anything nicer, skip the SSD hard drive to save $.

Watch a few online video on how to assemble a PC and you are good to go. It really is basically plug and play. Double check and triple check your connections, etc before giving it any power.

Big screen will cost atleast half your budget. Some stores will build you a computer just tell them you want one with no graphics card the worst screen but best CPU for your budget.

Try the STEAM forums a lot of tech savy gamers in there that build their own and can advise on buying a ready built one. Just tell them you dont need a good graphics card in it.

Building it yourself you could get a 3.4Ghz AMD quad CPU for that budget all you have to do is get help choosing the components then the motherboard manual will tell you how to build it step by step.
