yah.
mixed feelings about it.
the interface is damn fresh and great.
but it doesnt have a session manager and no (real) sample manager ...
so it's not really usable. more like a technology demo.
i hope the coder adds soon what's needed ...
i bought it to support the idea.

If you treat it like an instrument, it's great. You can import your own samples, export to soundcloud, or record live(gasp)! For less than a cheeseburger, it's low risk, and the developer is surely going to add to it. Ymmv.

You can import your own samples as long as you are near a computer with iTunes, so much for the post PC era.hogo wrote:If you treat it like an instrument, it's great. I have it and it is fantastic. I look forward to exploring it and maybe making a track with it later...

I think I love Borderlands, but I can't believe that it is going to make me use the steaming pile of shit that is iTunes. I have spent 8 minutes with the app, and 2 hours trying to figure how to prevent Apples bullcrap from deleting everything on the computer which is owned by me (we actually own our i-devices, despite their fascist paradigm). No ACP, and no background audio. I hope Mr Carlson will realize that these omissions will prevent musicians from using his groovy looking/sounding app.

It seems that the free version of MediaMonkey can get a playlist onto a iDevice without danger.
Borderlands is a hoot!
I hope the dev gets it as right for ios as he has for other platforms.
