I don't hear that LuSH-101 sounds any better. They sound almost 100% identical and i have the feeling that TAL Bassline does even sound a bit better in the low end...

I just created two audio demos using LuSH-101 and TAL Bassline with comparable settings/parameters. No external (and internal) FXs were used:

LuSH-101_Demo 01

TAL Bassline_Demo 01

Could you tweak resonance to max, and then play some with them...

Definitely not for me. My cpu is screaming with some of its patches. Oh well.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
:-o The sound is incredible, imho. So much "grip" and presence. Flipping through presets, now. Sitting tight.

LuSH-101 is a gem.

Oh yeah! +1

My thoughts exactly. Create a sequence, pick a preset and play it through Lush, it sounds very much alive.

Even the default preset was fun to play. Excellent in the low end, imho.

Will demo it much further but I'm not convinced yet.
Lush 101 didn't pass the "Theme from Ernest Borgnine" test (classic Squarepusher tune with a fantastic 101 lead melody) like I hope it would... I got some much more convincing results with Diva.
The GUI is sexy but awful to use unfortunately, too many tiny faders and buttons every where.

nilhartman, wasn't it a MC202?

I've just logged into my D16 account, and I already own Decimort, Phoscyon and Devastator.

So I get a 10% discount that I HAVE to use by 30th November. :?

I can guarantee you that'll mean I don't buy this thing now. The price is already relatively high, and the discount is pretty insulting. 10% is almost meaningless and I don't see why I should have to buy it within a certain timeframe. It's not possible for me to buy it in this timeframe anyway.

Poor show tbh.

How could i possible learn the gui and program sounds in that sort of restriction? :?
Me too, so annoying! Maybe a 14 day unrestricted trial would of been better for a synth like this?

Here it is, again with comparable parameter settings:
LuSH-101_Demo 02

TAL Bassline_Demo 02

In both synths you could recognize the Resonance up to around 93% of Cutoff and it almost disappears at 100% Cutoff.
