Good Effects Plugins that have came out in the last 6 months or so?

Yes, a dry/wet knob would be nice.

I have just recently started to play with automation on tracks, so I can definitively understand the need for a dry/wet knob.

Other than this, Wolfram is very, very good!
And I can always find a preset which acts as a good starting point for further sound manipulation.

Stumbled on this thread today. Regarding a dry/wet mix control in Wolfram -
It's not technically difficult to add that functionality. However there are already ways of adjusting the depth of the different effects in Wolfram, e.g. patchbay routing and effect block mix controls. I use Wolfram a lot in my music (surprised?) and have never felt a need for it.

If you still think this is important to you (and that's what really counts), I can add that functionality to the next version. No idea where to fit in a new dial in the user interface though, pretty crowded already.

So waddaya say?

Using Wolfram more and more, and I really like it.

But I need the dry/wet mix control.
I'm on Sonar X1, and I want to gradually put Wolfram into effect (and back to dry) on different sections on a track - using only 1 track automation lane.

Not sure what you mean by 'patchbay routing and effect block mix controls'.
Is this possible on Sonar X1?

Real glad you like the sound of Wolfram. I use it a lot myself in my music (strange huh?)
I'll definitely consider a wet/dry mix knob, if I can find the space in the GUI for it.
The knob movement can be changed in the settings menu in the plugin - There's a choice between Host-control, linear and circular.
The GUI is resizeable...Maybe you don't use the latest version of the plugin (also would explain your knob movement question since that's also fixed in the latest version)?

I actually just downloaded the plugin after seeing this thread, so as long as the demo is up to date, than so is the one I have installed. I'll check the settings and I am so happy to hear that it's resizable (and sorry for missing this option )

Okay, I completely missed the side bar (but in my defense it only shows when you hover over it, which is a nice touch).

But that GUI size is definitely not a problem as it can fill the height of my screen if I so desired (also a nice touch).
