No, just winning! :troll:
I do love my new shiny silver knob!

As far as getting better, the limitations of this challenge have been great for me. As an old-school Shaw Brothers Kung Fu movie buff  this place makes me think of training at a Shaolin temple. Balancing on floating logs, banging heads into concrete blocks, carrying heavy jugs of water, the whole 36 chambers type thing. With V'ger as the long bearded wise master. :hihi: Each new synth presents a new exercise to sharpen the teeth and toughen the skin. Soon I shall be invincible! Mwahahaha!

But yes most important is the fun aspect and great community! Group hug!
Hey, I'm a shaw bros fan too! Especially the Venom Mob films.
Right on! Crippled Avengers is one of my favorites of those. I love just about everything directed by Chang Cheh. :)

Post

Chang Che is the man. And Crippled Avengers is one of the HK movies I remember seeing on Black Belt theatre (on tv with the bad dubbing) as a kid. It stuck with me all the way in to adulthood. Though I have to say Five Element Ninjas (aka) Chinese Super Ninjas is by far my favorite Venom Mob movie. :)

/end nerdy subculture thread-jack.

Nice analogy except me the bearded and wise one..
As serendipity would have it, I stumbled upon this just before the discussion turned kung fu. Hilarious stuff really: :hihi:

But V'ger, that's really quite a well-made scene, almost a masterpiece! At least as compared to the true worst death scene ever:

Post

OMG that's epic! I lol'ed

Reminds me a bit of Peter Seller's overacted death scene in 'The Party':

Post

Record a scream, set loop points, play forever lol.

That was the scariest pain scream i ever heard lol.
