Cantabile Midi out to Software

Hi I am using using Cantabile 2 Performer for live gigs.I love it.I have eliminated much hardware and will continue down that path.I use a Softstep foot controller to control VSTs. I have been using a PageFlip Cicada (wireless footswitch)) for turning pages in MusicReader PDF software for when I use notation. The MusicReader software and Cantabile run well together.

I have found that I can use midi signals from my Softstep controller to turn the pages (plan to eliminate the PageFlip device). It will not do it however when Cantabile is running. Is there a way to route the Softstep controller (which is already controlling VSTs in Cantabile)and send its output from Cantabile to the MusicReader PDF program?

If I have to use something like Midi Yoke I certainly will but is there a way to do this without Midi Yoke? If Midi Yoke must be used I could use some guidance there also.I use Midi-Ox regularly for troubleshooting but have not used Midi Yoke
Thanks,

Hi Cantabilites,
I answered my own question. I used Midi Yoke and it worked perfectly. A cinch to install and set up.I think including midi tools in the new Cantabile 3 is a great idea. You need something to verify your signals.
Thanks for being here,

Thank you. I use Midi Ox frequently but this monitor looks very handy. I am going to try it out.
Thanks again,

Yes, This Midi monitor is very useful. I use it now instead of midi-ox often. It is so easy to install it whenever or wherever you need some midi info and then delete it when you are done.It is a plugin.

It looks very similar to the midi monitor proposed for the new version of Cantabile. I think it would be an excellent addition.

One thing I did not have success with was monitoring the results of midi AFTER midi filtering. It may be that I did not try hard enough. It is a great tool and quite valuable IMHO.

There is an alternative called loopMidi which is - once set up - far more convenient to use. It works also on 64bit.
