F*ck me, I never knew I was that dumb. I can work out the cube root of the tempo to match a triple dot 1/3 tempo delay to the reverb length, but I can't figure out a cable can protect a $1000 software investment

Just goes to show how you never know it all. Up until now I just had my Cubase dongle plugged straight into the back of my PC. Which meant I always have to be careful to leave space at the back so I don't squish it. And then be careful I don't ever accidentally knock the PC backwards. And y'know, it has never once occurred to me to use a USB cable to connect the dongle to the port. I mean, it's bleedin' obvious innit? And until I looked at that ad and saw the cable, I would have been blissfully ignorant that any old 4 yr old is probably smart enough to protect their dongle by using a cable. I am holding out for the Jimmy Buffet parrot head/margaritaville dongle cozy. Or maybe the Budweiser or PBR themed one. A Marlboro cigarette themed design is probably a bad idea on a small rectangular box though

Actually, that shit makes a ton of sense. I might buy one as well (maybe they have cheap Chinese rip-offs on ebay I hope lol)
