Multitrack DAW

I think this deserves it's own thread.
I was intrigued by this one as I researched DAWs a bit from reading the other DAW-thread in here. And I was curious to how an audio DAW would work on iPad.
And, I think this is it!
It's so intuitive, and the GUI is great. And at $9.99 it's really a no-brainer.
Pasting audio from multiple sources and putting together tracks into one intuitive app is just great. With EQ and Comp pr. track.
Just look at the features listed below.
https://itunes.apple.com/no/app/multitr ... 22101?mt=8

Easily, one of my favorites.....nice and clean, simple, and intuitive.....not real flashy but it does its job just as well as some of the more expensive units.

but it sadly lacks so many other things i need...at least volume automation and the ability to select more than one region at once!
And support seems to be a bit slow...still not happy with the DAW situation on ipads.Auria is to sluggish for me right now (look at my other post in Meteor vs.Auria),Beatmaker has an awesome workflow (my"to go"creative app)but crappy fx and rudimentary Audio clip handling (but it's still new in this app so...),Music studio looks...terrible
Looking for the BM2 update sometime soon.At least there will be a parametric eq then!

I can select multiple clips just by touching them once.Crabshack wrote:+1Derek Buddemeyer wrote:Easily, one of my favorites.....nice and clean, simple, and intuitive.....not real flashy but it does its job just as well as some of the more expensive units.

BM2 always crashes or I get memory warnings...nanostudio works well. MusicStudio, I use it for small instances. Auria boasts a lot of content but can be a bit overwhelming to someone just starting. I don't like using meteor. I hear nanostudio 2 rumors.... Flstudio mobile is almost laughable...I use GarageBand for strings and grand piano...I wish multitrack daw had a count in before recording.Crabshack wrote:+1Derek Buddemeyer wrote:Easily, one of my favorites.....nice and clean, simple, and intuitive.....not real flashy but it does its job just as well as some of the more expensive units.

@bmoore:uhm,you're right.Feel like an idiot now.Don't know what i tried before
tips for a hidden volume automation are highly appreciated as well
@derek:weird,bm2 crashed maybe 2-3 times here. And i'm using it a lot, even for bigger projects with many (sampler) instruments or virtual midi.
i totally trust this program in stability terms.and i worked with it on ipad 1 AND 2,i never got memory warnings and it allways run smooth.maybe to many apps in the background?did you check the memory settings of bm2?

Try increasing the available memory for BM2 in the iOS settings.

'Maxed out' may be the problem?

Turns out you can bounce tracks in multitrack daw. Meteor has more features, but multitrack has 24 tracks. It's a toss up.

What change did you make? My guess is that you lowered the RAM usage allowance in the settings for BM2. This would seem to me to be the solution to the problem...Derek Buddemeyer wrote:Okay, BM2 seems to be stable for me now....I'll dig in a little deeper tomorrow...but it looks like I might be able to use it again! Hahahaha...I feel stupid! Yes, just went to ipad settings and checked unlimited memory....works fine. I wish I could import midi files created in EZComposer with "open in" option but haven't seen how yet....ideas, besides iTunes file sharing?audiojunkie wrote:What change did you make?
