What's wrong with my chord progression?

Chords, scales, harmony, melody, etc.

The first half sounds perfect to me, something about the second half doesn't sound right. I can't put my finger on it. If anyone could shine some light on this, that would be awesome!

the last 2 chords are a bit weird (slightly). The second-to-last has a C bass, but you're basically playing a G triad above it. There's nothing wrong with this, but you may be imaging a G bass instead of C. replace all Cs with Gs. you could also try Es. The last chord sounds unresolved as it's got an A major feel, but the bass notes (2 octaves of them like the last chord) are E. Replace those with As and it will probably sound as you expect.

Don't worry, I'm not one gonna give you a "there's nothing that sounds wrong" answer, but honestly I wouldn't change anything here if I was you. This is not wrong at all, just a little more complex than average Top 10, which does not mean that it couldn't enter into Top 10. With a strong melody line justifying that the chord progression is a bit different than what'd be expected, it could become a really good song.

YES! you got it. i replaced the C'S with G's, but i kept a high c in there for more tension. in the last chord replaced the E's with A's and it's PERFECT!!

thank you so much!

It sounds fine as it is to me. Sometimes I just like to stumble forward with mostly random selections of chords when making a progression, with no regards for a particular scale. It tends to yield cool results.

Nothing wrong with what you have but try improving with the
Raga Mian Ki Malhar Scale in the Key of D
