What does it end up costing with the code? I've got their Silverline bundle.
Depending on what you own of theirs will depend on the discount %. If you login in to your D16 account you will see your discount in the crossgrade section.

I own Nepheton, Silver Line Bundle, and a single Devastator (bought before the bundle) and have a 20% discount which seems to be the max offered.

Review: http://www.audio-desk.com/d16-lush-101-review/

Looks like a great interface for an iPad synth! Crap interface for a plugin though (so not buying it).

Post

Er... the interface is designed to look like an sh101 so....

It's a plugin!! Why does it need to be 3D photo realistic, with a huge on screen keyboard & small fuzzy labels?

Korg/Arturia/GForce all do a better job to make their emulations look like the real thing.

Post

Personally I'm arsed about how it sounds, I can work round a gui.

I can see the argument that i shouldn't have to but a gui wouldn't stop me buying something.

It sounds pretty good

I have enough hardware & software to make all the music I could ever want. Every aspect I don't like is for me a good reason to stop spending money ;)

That review says there's an accurate emulation of the JP-8000 supersaw in this synth. WRONG! Not even close, really. Other than that, good review.

The first Piano chord presets have been used in the remix of Jessie Ware's track Running by Disclosure, or at least they sound the same.

I tried it out last night and that's what I thought. Sounds pretty good but demands a LOT of CPU... so much so that to me it would basically be a monophonic synth. When I did a quick CPU requirement/Price/Quality assessment it was pretty clear to me that I'll pass on this one.

The UI, while true to the original to some degree, basically sucks. (Note to developers: emulate sound and features, not hardware look.)

After playing around with it for a bit I sparked up my good ol' ATC-x and... Now that's analog. 8)

OK so the high CPU demand whiners made me download the demo to check if the sound quality/cpu ratio is really that bad or if they are just idiots with unrealistic expectations...

This is an amazing synth

Could easily be the only thing I will ever need. :) So happy!

Well so it really sounds very good. :)
CPU usage normal for latest gen synth - comparable to DIVA.

DIVA in her divine mode with about the same amount of modulation and voices playing simultaneously takes more CPU here on an old Athlon 64 2 core processor.
