Diva x8?
DIVA in her divine mode with about the same amount of modulation and voices playing simultaneously takes more CPU here on an old Athlon 64 2 core processor.
Same here... but Diva has the multicore option so I can play all my Diva presets with polyphony in realtime...

There are included pad presets with Lush where I cannot play 2-3 notes without crackles and one I found where a single note gives me crackles (on my quad i7)... Lush has no multicore and no lower quality mode like draft so in quite a few included presets I am unable to play it realtime. Even without the multicore (which is not so useful for your cpu), with Diva you have the option to play it realtime in Draft and render in Divine.

Lush is half finished product atm, it will get better with future updates. :)

...though sounds much nicer to me.

Really? After all that delay you think it's "half finished?" Seems finished to me, though you're right, they probably should have waited another 6 months to get in some needed features.

Like:

- cpu optimization
- better gui

That's all I need haha! :p :)

Just different, so you can't really compare.
There are sounds DIVA can do that Lush can't do and other way around too.

98% LoL... This review is really biased... They don't speak about the aliasing at 44.1kHz, It's a pure commercial review...

Here is mine and even if I admit that the LuSH-101 is a good synth, it is only a good synth ;-)

I don't agree, I think Lush is a *great* synth. CPU-heavy, sure, but quality almost always comes at a price.

Love LuSH!
I'm sure CPU-optimisations will be addressed in future.

+1
Version 1.0.1 is out btw-
added option to hide GUI keyboard
bugfix in LFOs and envelopes retrigger mode (appeared only on few hosts)
less restrictive demo version (no pop-up window, 30 minutes in one run)

Off to download it now. :)

A wholly uncritical review is of little use.

A review for software for which there is a free demo is of no use.

A factually incorrect review is worse than useless.

People who waste bandwidth on this nonsense should have very bad things done to them. :x

And very poorly written, too.

Are you serious? Sure, I always tell people to check out the demo for themselves in my reviews (maybe take a look, I wonder if you would have some pointers for me too ;-)), but I don't expect everyone to do this. Especially when I'm half interested, I will read a review or two before going through the trouble of (sometimes having to create an account), downloading, installing, and getting to know a piece of software.
