No has spoken up about this bid, so I am going to. I don't believe this person is prepared to drop over $3400 to cover all these bids. I believe the purpose is to simply drive up the bids, and I believe that violates the spirit of the proceedings. Some of are trying to get a good deal while helping out a good cause. We are acting in good faith with the understanding that everyone else is as well. I don't believe this person is acting in good faith. I would like to emphasize the fact that these products are NFR, hence one should bid on the item that they want to use and keep. Also, demo the product to make sure it works on your setup.

I understand your concern regarding the lottery bid above but I will not prejudice even though it's quite a lot of money. If you notice the auctions are only outbid with enough to win and the guy might be setting up a new professional studio and found a bargain! What concerns me is the bidding on several suites with the same purposes (several mastering bundles for instance).
Nevertheless, I will send the user a PM asking him to tell me a little about himself to clarify how serious he is with his bidding.
