setting up preamp problem

first I presume you have done this, If not go for it man:
Mic straight into the input on the UA's input
Engage phantom power on the UA, Not the MBOX as that is what/where your microhpone is going into.
Line output from the UA into one of the line inputs on the MBOX
Leave everything at line level (Make sure the MBOX is set to line input if that model has a switch to toggle between mic/line input)
If that is not working/signal is coming into the computer then I'm not sure and I've been awake since friday morning without even a few minutes of sleep so my brain is mush at the moment. Still it should work if set as said above man
All the best and sure someone who has slept/is fresh could help some more
