Windows 8?

So, just did some quick searching about Windows 8 and audio latency. It doesn't appear that it will be good news for mobile devices. Has anyone found good news on that front (this is coming from an Apple Fanboy who thought MS would come out of the gate kicking at Apple's kneecaps). Was hoping to see some new innovation on non-iOS but from what I am reading- it's not happening. This stuff seems to be old so maybe with the actual release things have changed. Anyone know?

I thought they were supposed to be interchangeable- so you could potentially run the same music app on your desktop that you have on your tablet, or phone.

Don't get the RT version! It doesn't run Windows programs. It just runs 'Web apps'polaris20 wrote:Windows 8 RT, or Windows Phone 8? Either one is too soon to tell about audio latency.
