Um... if this is real, he really should change the GUI, as already said, it will be pretty unusable on a phone.

One can hope, but I don't think mr. Toda will change the GUI. He LIKES it.

I'm sure he'll find a way to make things work easily. I'd be willing to bet that if the GUI is kept the same, there is probably a way to select what you want to adjust, and it will blow up in size -- kind of like MultiTrack DAW. This is just speculation, of course, but it would make sense and work well, while still keeping things looking the same.

At this point, I'm more interested in the sound and patch capability.

Get Synth1 for iPad. Buy a iPad Mini and a cheap midi keyboard and you've got a pretty decent modern VA for not a lot of money.

I wonder what the polyphony is like.

I guess that once he's done with this. He'll release the native AU version. I would imagine the code is very similar.

Wow, would never have thought Synth1 would ever be on my iPad.... great news!

iRig KEYS or even iRig MIDI with any MIDI controller would be a sweet set up.

I was looking at this the other week and would have bought it in an instant if it had started at F rather than C.

(In other words an alternative layout version would be great.) 8)

circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

Sweet - Synth1 is my goto synth when working on my netbook. So lightweight on CPU and still has fantastic sound that is really hard to beat by other more up to date soft synths. This thing would be amazing as an Auria vst.

Wish he would draw a better GUI for both VST and iOS instruments =)
