Bought this yesterday after comparing with demos of Etch and Wow. Sounds gorgeous. Well done Andy this is a fantastic plugin.

I have to agree as well. I got Etch in the no-brainer sale, but comparing the two directly, there's no contest. The Drop both sounds better and has a better GUI, at least to my taste (not a big fan of all the sliders on Etch--filter plugins need knobs).hubiedubie wrote:Bought this yesterday after comparing with demos of Etch and Wow. Wasn't really looking to drop another hundo on a plugin, but I officially will not be able to survive with having The Drop in my life.

Not much point to be an early adopter then other than to help with bug testing?
I will wait to try it when it is more complete.

What is "the loyalty discount", if you have the Glue already?
I have the Glue but have not received any "loyalty discount"...

Someone make this a sticky, cause I'm sure this question will arise again.

The loyalty discount is 30% and will only show when you 'checkout'. This is just the way the shopping cart back end works on the Cytomic shop.
Rest assured though if you already own 'The Glue' and are logged into your account you will get your 30% discount when you go through the checkout process.

I've switched to applying the discount to the product instead of the order, so the discount will now appear for existing customers on each product's add to cart button.ariston wrote:Erm... log in, add to cart, checkout, presto there it is (69$).zouki wrote:

(edit: I had to switch back to only showing the discount at checkout since it screwed things up later on in the process and people didn't get their downloads)

I personally believe Andy should have gone the iTunes/IKMM way with his pricing structure. Say $50 for the base plugin, with upgrades to different filters available at say $20-$30 per option.
