It is VST3? I don't think it is.

Your signature is a garbled mess! lol, What is it supposed to be saying?

Anway it has to be VST3 so I don't have to upgrade Cubase in order to use it.

Artist does not have surround mode and I think that's the only way to get vst 2.4 plug-ins to do side-chain. You create a group channel in quad something or other and that is a 5.1 sort of channel.

In short, if it's not VST3 I can't consider it for SC.

Oh I missed some of those, thanks.

I didn't even realize compassion & DC8C were VST3. I even own DC8C.

I don't think the Rocket is, though it would be cool if it was.

That DC8C works a treat on SC duties. Great for drum buss too.

Hmm I have Cableguys volume shaper, which can do something very similar, it's a drawn in curve for volume.

I do like the results I can get from that, but I don't feel they have the character that compressors can impart.

For dance music it doesn't matter too much, but I like that character.

I do like the idea of vengeane side-band as it gives you control over two frequencies.

I don't know about the other plugins but LFO tool has it's own filters so you can dial in some character there as well.

I'm not totally convinced that any character imparted by a compressor used for ducking is noticeable anyway, but I could be wrong.

FXpansion DCAM Dynamics (VST2 x86/x64, no VST3 - windows based)
2 of the 4 plugins feature an external sidechain function: The BusComp and CrossComp plugins can be driven by a separate sidechain signal (this needs to be routed to inputs 3+4 of the plugin)

Yeah this bundle has some great compressors for sure. Can't use them with SC in Cubase Artist though.

Pro-C has really got my attention right now too.

VST3 Compressors with Side-chain, am I missing any options here?
