Hi Shane. Quality strings sound. I didn't find any bug at the moment but is there a way to make your plugin much much much louder?

Not possible at the moment because I actually made a -6dB cut on the whole volume to make the strings sounds the same loud as the real strings.harryupbabble wrote:Hi Shane. Quality strings sound. I didn't find any bug at the moment but is there a way to make your plugin much much much louder?
BTW, if you want it much much louder, maybe it is a bug I need fix?

I guess I can always just use a maximizer effect but it's an additional load on the CPU. I'm not sure if Ben, the KVR site owner or manager, would allow lack of volume to be seen as a bug. I presume developers were given a set of rules that voters don't know about.shane1980 wrote:Not possible at the moment because I actually made a -6dB cut on the whole volume to make the strings sounds the same loud as the real strings.

Sounds too low is not considered to be a bug under KVR's Rule. But if at your place, the sound is much lower in level than my side, it can be judged as a bug.harryupbabble wrote:

You can use a short MIDI file and render it into MP3(without any post-effect, only RAW) on your PC and send both the MIDI and MP3 files to me at
support@soundemon.com. In this way, I can look at whether it is a bug.
Hope this helps

Seems not allowed Devs to post on Instrument forum about DC entries?topaz wrote:There is major problems with the mac player.

But I can answer here.
MAC player uses a complete different method/Engine. The biggest issue whether it can pass the Logic Validation and we are now working on it.

Hello again Shane. When I copied your support link and pasted it into Firefox, I get this message:shane1980 wrote: Sounds too low is not considered to be a bug under KVR's Rule. But if at your place, the sound is much lower in level than my side, it can be judged as a bug.

No offense and I may be just be paranoid for nothing but I would rather not do it that way. I think I will just wait and see if other voters say that yes your plugin is too quiet.

This is the MIDI data in Rose Garden.shane1980 wrote:You can use a short MIDI file and render it into MP3(without any post-effect, only RAW) on your PC and send both the MIDI and MP3 files to me

And this is the WAV data in Audacity. It's about 2 loops recorded in MiniHost.

Shane, of ALL DC12 instruments I have tested using the same MIDI file, your plugin is the only one that is noticeably so much quieter, honestly. Maybe some people like their strings quiet but some like it loud. Choices would be nice.

Well, it's because instead of left-clicking it, I right-clicked the link... and the message "Copy Email Address" popped up.darsho wrote:why did you paste the mail address in Firefox ?

Based on the waveform I see, it is sure that it is a bug. I will fix it ASAP.
Thank you again for your feedback, harryupbabble
