Line 6 distributes Reason in the US, they don't own it or Propellerhead.
Thanks for that

The Variax appears to have died...lost all of its presets following problems with a firmware upgrade...sigh...
I'm going to lose it for months for the warranty repair
That sucks

So I got all my stuff, I will be taking the strings off and taping up the body here pretty quick. The biggest question is "wha happened?" I wonder why it got that way in the first place

Chambered bodies don't sound the same as solid bodies. They don't sound bad, they're just different.

The 498's aren't the sought after Gibson pickups, that'd be the Burstbuckers.

All that said, $650 for a USA-made Gibson is a steal! I've played the other cheapie stained Gibson's and really loved them. Also, the baked maple fretboard might actually be a cool combination and make it sound more lively than normal Les Paul's.

birchwood casey. I had a HELL of a time finding it too. Called sports place after sports place.

So, sanded, sealed.......feels really smooth so far.......gotta "erase" the frets now :hihi: I should have it strung up and given the real test in about an hour.

It was made for the 2008 NAMM. It has no serial number or design on the ebony headstock.

It wasn't meant to be sold but Craigs' shipping costs to the 2012 NAMM were rather extreme. :-)
