Wind swirl samples

I am working on a track at the moment that needs a good swirling wind sample at the beginning and in the middle.
You know - that swirling/slightly whistling sound?
If anyone actually has Cannibal Corpse "Vile" album, there is a track (I think track 5?) that has the perfect wind sound I want but I don't want to sample copyrighted material and there is a guitar sound that fades in too quickly for me to sample it anyway.
I guess I'll have to purchase a sample library but I don't know what to get or what's out there for this type of sound. Any suggestions?

Can you get away with synthesizing the sound? A little white noise can go a long way...

Right i dont know the exact sound you mean but i usually turn to two apps when after this type of thing - Absynth and GRM Tools. Take a sample of some thing noisy (anything from white noise to a recording of your dish washer!), load it into Absynth and do some allpass filter sweeps. Then use GRM Tools Stereo Doppler to create the swirling effect. Finally, go to work with the reverb (i'd stay clear of delay, could ruin the swirling effect). Voila! This can also sound cool if you have some rain in the background. I made some awesome rain samples by f**king with recording of my toilet flushing.

Stick a microphone out of your window on a bad weather day?
Actually this could work, leave your window only really slightly ajar and you should get a whistley wind sound (provided it's windy outside) blowing thru the gap - I know this 'cos I hear it all the time with our leaky windows

Thanks for the advice all.
I'm using some noise off some vst from tobybear to make an "outside air" noise but I want the real deal if possible. I might try it with a fan blowing onto something and record it and then modify it.
But if anyone does know of a sample cd that has such sounds I'd still like to know.
