Maybe 45 minutes of sampling, but I am sure a lot more time went into editing and programming the samples ;-)
After working with you for a few years, I know your detail goes beyond 45 minutes.
;-)
Oh yeah... and hopefully the new wife says the same. :P

wow, this is really an awesome sounding kit. Cant believe I missed this one until now! Thank you so much!

maybe it's been mentioned before, but in the "frollo9386's" sfz mappings, the closed hihat (c4)samples are missing the root key parameter. Simply add the line "pitch_keycenter=c4" to each of those 7 samples in the sfz file and everything's fine.

I am 10 years late to the party, but awesome kit!
Nice mapping and velocities! No need for any Konakt Velocity sensitivity modulation!
Thank you, Greg!!

Like BoogyWhat, I'm extremely late. Thank you very much for the samples! :tu:

I just made a short jazz track with the samples! I just found these kit samples after 17 years!. They are great, thankyou for making them available and since 2008! I love old vintage jazz drums. I just spent time checking out other Orange Tree Samples instruments. All very good!

This small kit is very much what jazz drummers used in the vintage jazz years. It's really all they needed.

How I made this track:
The drum kit samples in my test track are playing in the Plogue sfozando sample player in Cakewalk Sonar. I did not separate the drums into channels in the DAW. Thus, it's the kit as-is without panning or any processing. Snares on. Except, I did add a touch of room space with Melda Production Audio MConvolutionEZ.

I added an upright bass from SampleTank 4 and Iowa piano. I found and made edits to a funk midi loop for the drums and bass.

Thanks again!

The drums in the test track I posted in my previous post on Dec 13 has now been corrected. The drums were playing doubled in the track mix, and now it's fixed.

Wow, after 17 years I've found this drum set. Beautifully dry samples,
freely configurable as WAV files – truly fantastic!
Thanky you, Gregjazz! :D

@Mike777: Thanks for the sample MP3! It clearly demonstrates the
quality of the samples. :tu:

And here's a new mix of my test track to hear the kit better. I lowered the bass and there is now a short drum solo:
