You have to install on a mac with an earlier OS and then port the files over. PM ChadPA and he can send you exact instructions.jc_vt wrote:Missed that. How do you run on Lion? what about 10.8?baconpriest wrote:I just got my new serial this afternoon and, thanks to ChadPA , have it up and running in OSX Lion. Very nice sounding synth, well worth $20 and well worth the four day wait.[/url]

Me too, it may the filters as mentioned but i think just from the presets it has a more organic sound.bftucker wrote:It is probably just a question of taste, but I also find Rapture more musical than Z3ta. I try not to buy anything on impulse but this is one temptation I am glad I gave in to.

which expansion? The Digital Sound Factory Film Score? First check your spam folder and if their email is not there, then maybe email and ask them?boombaxx wrote:I did buy it from Sweetwater. But cannot find the expansion in any emails

These look like they're free for all Rapture owners. Are they? If so, why aren't they in my Cakewalk account (where I just happened to find a new Zeta+ pack waiting for me when I registered Rapture)?EnGee wrote: Other expansion packs are here:

Surely they'd be much easier to find if they were included with the Rapture download.

They are free, I have them installed and they work fine. As for why they aren't on the account download page only Cakewalk knows...BERFAB wrote:These look like they're free for all Rapture owners. Thanks for the headsup BERFAB!
I can't seem to get the Rapture Microhost (stand-alone?) to sound. What am I missing?

I haven't used the standalone, but typically you have to re-configure the output/midi settings in the standalone program before using. Your DAW configurations will not automatically be in there.Integratron wrote:Thanks for the headsup BERFAB!

Right - I've done that with other synths. This one seems to have the correct values for the sound card (NI Rig Kontrol 3), but the synth is acting weird. For example the outputs button along the top is dimmed and it won't let me open the audio (ASIO) control panel...BERFAB wrote:I haven't used the standalone, but typically you have to re-configure the output/midi settings in the standalone program before using. There is only one thing I utterly hate in Rapture: it's missing the previous-next preset buttons that Dimension Pro has! Seriously, Cakewalk?!
