I saw a few other posts here at KVR for the mighty Die Antwoord.
Anyway, here is one more..
And, before anyone gets on any high horses about racism, please check where these people come from, who their friends are and what their philosophy is.
This is next-level shit.

As someone from South Africa, I am under the impression this is a fairly common way for many people to perceive the place.
It is ridiculous.
Like the Antwoord or not, they are genius, no doubt about it, although, like South Park, people either get it, or think it's moronic.

Did you hear of them?
Are they well known/well liked?
I think you get it and don't think it is moronic.
Would I be right?

They have a thing for them over at boingboing.net and the comments whenever a new video is posted are really interesting, cutting right across the spectrum of opinions.
Kind of amazing people still argue about how genuine they are, motives etc. Other bands get away with a lot more ambiguity, maybe because they're not so provocative?
Whatever, I love them, the new punk etc etc etc.

I've known about the main gentleman's (Watkin Tudor Jones) various acts for many years now.Sorry, could you answer one thing for me?

Die Antwoord is just his first major internationally successful creation.
In my estimation the man is a brilliant artist. Anyone who takes Die Antwoord seriously needs their head checked - It's just an act, a creation, albeit an interesting and in your face one at times.
They are very well known, and as for well liked, it's pretty polarized, as you might expect.
Musically, it's not really my cup of tea, but I recognize it for what it is, and what it is is better than what 99% of humanity could ever produce themselves...I think you get it and don't think it is moronic.
Would I be right?

Yeah, the jump from Max Normal to Ninja is pretty profound. Have fond memories of watching Max Normal back in the summer of 2001.
