Remote Trigger of Randomize Button

Hello,

Does anyone know of a way to trigger the randomize tool button using a midi command? I'm using a padKontrol and controlling vst parameters is easy enough but the tool bar functions have me stumped.

As far as I know randomize is a feature of Cantabile's vst patch editor which is not meant to be a performance tools but an editor only...
