Why the hell can't I install Rayblaster Demo on my OSX 10.6.8. Everytime I try to install it, the installer tells me that an unknown error made the installation fail. WTF !?

I too think the Tone2 has a sound....
Ingo let me ask you this though:
1. Isn't it the same ppl who decide on the final presets?
2. and I know some developers edit the sound developers presets to 'fit in more'with the rest of the patches... is this being done?.
maybe this happens too....
for me what is wrong with a signature sound, is that after all awhile all their products sound the same (and here I mean the generic 'their', not tone2 specifically).
I know the underlying sound creation maybe different but for some of us, maybe even many of us. we don't really care HOW it is created, we want to hear what the final thing sounds like.....I am definitely like that....I really don't care how great the wave scanning or addictive synthesis or FM capabilities or whatever blah blah blah is done.....I really don't care...that for me is for sound developer geeks..... all I really care about (well apart from stability etc) is how well it sounds and how well can I make the instrument and its sounds fit in whatever project I am working on.

Existing Tone2 customers should seriously consider contacting Bastiaan about a discount:Ingonator wrote:

Firebird+ & Bifilter 2 obtained through magazines, does that qualify as existing Tone 2 customer?

Selection is usually done by Bastiaan. Anyway the other presets are not lost, they are in the "pool" for further soundsets (first one for Rayblaster will not take long...). Excpet if you decide you want to keep the unused ones for yourself.zvenx wrote: 1. Isn't it the same ppl who decide on the final presets?

I also did not experience editing, except for the volume in some cases. This is true for both my Saurus and my Raybblaster presets.

I also have 10.6.8 and it fails the same way for me. My guess is the installer does not work for 10.6.8

I didn't try the au version, but the vst version works fine in cubase 6.5

Hmmm... then it is something more specific than OS version...
