There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. debra1rlo was crazy and could be grounded. All she had to do was ask; and as soon as she did, she would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. debra1rlo would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if she didn't, but if she were sane she had to fly them. If she flew them she was crazy and didn't have to; but if she didn't want to she was sane and had to. Meffy was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle.

It's kind of like "The big table" When I was 8 you had to be 15 to sit at the big table for family reunions. When I turned 15 they made it 21 and when I turned 21 they increased the age to 40 before you could sit at the big table.
Now that I'm 51 they moved the age up to 80 and added the requirement of having at least 5 grandchildren. I give up.

I'm the only person over 12 years old that still has to sit at the kids table at family gatherings. Apparently my wife and I have a tendency to misbehave, so we're not allowed to sit at the same table anymore. It's bullshit. It wasn't my fault the center piece caught fire... Well it wasn't all my fault.

Probably one of the lowest post count old timers (that's still around) here. I remember when Ben switched the the forum/web site and everyone had to start over from scratch. I'd have an even earlier number but it took me a while to want to post something on the new forums.
