The only person playing last name games is Steven Slate. Or at least that's the rumor I've heard.

Well Eiosis seems to be back, if you go on their website you'll see that they have renewed their homepage. And they will be present at the NAMM.bduffy wrote:Yes. Now I wonder what's going on with Eiosis....

There was a recent post on Gearslutz where Fabrice cryptically said stuff would be happening again with Eiosis in the near future, but that working on the current set of Slate plugins was the priority.bduffy wrote:Yes. Now I wonder what's going on with Eiosis....
Did anyone else work at Eiosis? If it was just Fabrice, I'd almost want him to rebrand and rereleas the Eiosis line as SD plugins, with 64 bit versions, but based on the "coming soon" message, that's looking unlikely.

I think Eliosis/Eliosound/Eiosis was originally Fabrice Paumier and Xavier Oudin, before Xavier left to start XILS Labs. I believe Oudin worked for Arturia before all that and may have been in large part responsible for TAE. Who knows how all these things overlap with any company and whether work is contract or partnership, though.

I was thinking why Xils' synths sound very much like Eiosis' vocoder. This explain.antithesist wrote:I think Eliosis/Eliosound/Eiosis was originally Fabrice Paumier and Xavier Oudin, before Xavier left to start XILS Labs.
