I'm getting a runtime error when trying to restore my gear on my laptop. When it goes to install my plugins, it asks to confirm the paths, I do, then it throws the error. This is in Win 8 64 bit.

Right off with a bang eh? (first page)
I don't know how much I'd use these but the CS model for this is poor if the individual plugs are going to be that much. It's the "oh well, if it's 120 for the fisher price (
) then I might as well get the lot for 149.99"
But Cheers and lots of success. I really do need to get the singles I have reinstalled, THAT was a deal!

Hey Peter, or someone: Installation went smoothly, but a few questions on a duplicate dll issue. Since I wanted to get the updated CSR,and Black and White, I hit the Restore Gear button--which worked properly, EXCEPT it has now given me duplicate(?)dlls for my T-Racks Deluxe Models. Should I just delete the duplicates, assuming they are identical(?)and if so is their any significance to which duplicate I delete?
Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this has already been asked---but I'm getting a little bleary-eyed at this point

If I buy an upgrade for Grand CS to upgrade from T-rackS Deluxe which I bought during the group buy, then does the license remain nfr after being upgraded, or does its status change to it becoming transferable?

How does it sound?
T-Racks Deluxe is my fav IKM product. I know that somewhere in this thread this must have been answered but I would appreciate a brief summary: what do I have to do to move to the CS version? What do I get as a Deluxe owner?

Question from those that want to stick with T-Racks 3 pre CS...
Is there a chance to get the old update installs still? I haven't checked which installers I have on my HDD, but is it still possible to get the old ones just in case?
I remember IKM having some sort of "history" server, but I'm not sure as of this moment. Installed once, never needed an update.

And you can only demo it for 2 days, then you have to wait a month. 2 freakin' days! Better make up your mind quick.K-Slash wrote:I see it's not possible to demo a gear as a single.
You're forced to demo it through the Custom Shop.
That's bad.

Your previous T-RackS 3 Deluxe plugins are there for continuity. Projects that use T-RackS 3 plugins will continue to use T-RackS 3. You can uninstall T-RackS 3 once you are completely sure you have updated all your projects with the new T-RackS CS versions.LAGinz wrote:Hey Peter, or someone: Installation went smoothly, but a few questions on a duplicate dll issue. T-RackS 3 is a separate product, so it will remain available in your User Area. Your T-RackS 3 installation will automatically unlock and authorize the processors you already own inside T-RackS CS, just as AmpliTube 2, etc. does inside AmpliTube 3 CS.Compyfox wrote:Question from those that want to stick with T-Racks 3 pre CS...

And just as you could choose to stick with AmpliTube 2 over AmpliTube 3 CS, you can stick with T-RackS 3 over T-Racks CS. However, the T-RackS Custom Shop is going to continue to grow, just as the AmpliTube Custom Shop has, so why fight it?

Download and install T-RackS Custom Shop from your User Area. As a registered IK user, it is already there waiting for you now. Authorize the provided serial with the Authorization Manager. Now launch the updated Custom Shop application, and go to the new T-RACKS section. Click "Restore My Gear" from the GEAR menu. Enjoy!FrankT wrote:How does it sound?

What you will get as a Deluxe owner is the new 4.0 versions of all the Deluxe processors, plus any others that you may also own (including CSR if you have it already.)
It will also get you an introductory upgrade price (valid until January 7, 2013) to T-RackS Grand, which includes the whole shebang for $99.99 / €79,99, which is $300 off.

Unfortunately I and a few others have gotten a runtime error when trying to restore our gear
It gives the dialog to choose a path. No matter the path chosen, default or any directory, it crashes with a runtime error.
