If you own T-racks standard plus all of the singles that make up T-racks 3 Deluxe, who do I need to contact to see if I can qualify for the $99 upgrade?
I know that there is a support link on the IK page, but is that a "sales" question or a "technical support" question (two different links)?

What's the answer for the runtime error crap?

sergevoluminous, please open a Support Ticket so Tech Support can work with you to get it sorted out.

I didn't give in to the "Grande" deal yet, Brian.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:I knew you'd give in sooner or later, Compy!
But if the 99USD/79EUR plus VAT deal remains, I might to go for it eventually. If you folks keep the payment option with actial money, not the Gear Credit thing.
Though as expected, I saw that this is a "launch" special.
Care to fill us in on the regular prices POST 7th January?
Because they are not listed.
And I sure hope you (IKM) stick to the FR's from us users. And reduce the filesize of the installation. That 320MB PAK hovering there eating HDD space is a BS concept.

Wow! Thanks for all your efforts, Compyfox.
Here's my situation: I have access to a rather slow internet connection, and own the White 2A. Of course, I'd like to update this, but...I just can not do it given the huge size of the required download. I am now effectively cut off from any improvement to my plugin.
Unless there's another way around this, I just can not play this game. It's really unfortunate.

Bump...Brian, man, you were just in this thread and answered the question below mine.jsp1979 wrote:If you own T-racks standard plus all of the singles that make up T-racks 3 Deluxe, who do I need to contact to see if I can qualify for the $99 upgrade?

If you answer only the rude questions, then no one will ask nicely.

Have you actually gone to the website and searched?jsp1979 wrote:Bump...Brian, man, you were just in this thread and answered the question below mine.jsp1979 wrote:If you own T-racks standard plus all of the singles that make up T-racks 3 Deluxe, who do I need to contact to see if I can qualify for the $99 upgrade?

I wasn't trying to be rude, but it seemed a lot of people had mentioned the runtime error crap so maybe someone, not just IK, had an answer.

Yes, I went to the website and searched. It's all there in my question.VitaminD wrote:Have you actually gone to the website and searched?jsp1979 wrote:Bump...Brian, man, you were just in this thread and answered the question below mine.jsp1979 wrote:If you own T-racks standard plus all of the singles that make up T-racks 3 Deluxe, who do I need to contact to see if I can qualify for the $99 upgrade?

My question was specifically is this a technical support question or a sales question. There are two different links on the website and two different forms.

There are several problems involved actually.jariya wrote:Unless there's another way around this, I just can not play this game. It's really unfortunate.
FIrst and foremost, the 180MB download. - but then you get T-Racks and CSR in one pack ready to unlock.
But in order to "unlock" these plugins, you need to have an online connection. I didn't see offline means yet.
On top of that, after the installation, you have a 320MB PAK file that contains your plugins. If you install just the 32bit VST2 version (which I did), it still drops three different files, which are called by a wrapper in the VSTplugins folder. Example: T-RackS CS Classic EQ .pak, .vpa and .vpa64 - and this is eating up HDD space quickly. Unless the Wrapper is intelligent and is like "ya know, I'ma go VST3" or "I'ma go x64". But I didn't see that yet.
Currently, my TR3deluxe installation is eating up 629MB (incl. Custom Shop with 25MB and Authorisation Manager with 50MB), plus the wrapper files in the VSTplugin folder (2,3MB). And I don't know where that Quicktime.exe went.
So compared to old T-Racks, this is a drastic change which not only forces you to be online, but also forces you to waste HDD space, on top of the forced "gear credit" thing. To some that might not be an issue (broadband, large HDDs, ignorance of payment methods), but to others it is.
Though it's hard to understand regarding web connections these days. Even though I know that certain areas (in Germany) are still locked to 1MBit.

To me, this is clearly a sales question.jsp1979 wrote:Bump...Brian, man, you were just in this thread and answered the question below mine.jsp1979 wrote:If you own T-racks standard plus all of the singles that make up T-racks 3 Deluxe, who do I need to contact to see if I can qualify for the $99 upgrade?

Hello?! Someone reading along?
Custom Shop only works while you are being ONLINE. I know of offline means (forum is down for me currently), but it's more hassle and I only remember it to work for AT3.
