- The 4000 E-Channel "SL611E", like the UAD with black or brown EQ (seems so), or the Waves one.

- The 4000 G-Channel "SL611G", like the Waves G-Channel.

- Maybe the 4000 S-Channel "SL611S" (this one I really want!)

- Or the 9000 Series Channel like the Duende one.
Would love to know that as well. Definitely an interesting bit of info, and an excellent Q.

Though I have a feeling it will be either the E or G (I think E), according to the timeframe they stated (80ies).

If I buy all of the gear in Deluxe in CS, can I contact sales to get the upgrade pricing from Deluxe to Grand?
You would want to buy Deluxe directly. That's the way to qualify for that upgrade.

I need to clarify - there are far too many "special cases" and I need to make sure that we go forward in this way:

The upgrade pricing was set to be a VERY deep discount for just this reason. I understand there are some people who have cases where the upgrade may not seem fair to them but going forward, the upgrade paths offered are very fair and that is the method that should be used to upgrade from what you currently own. If you have Singles, then you have the Single upgrade and if you have a Deluxe serial registered then that would be the appropriate upgrade path to take.

Going forward my advice is that if you are unclear as to which upgrade shown at the following link is not clear to you, yes you can contact us (even just PM here or whatever) to make sure you purchase the correct upgrade option, but your case will be that of what you currently have registered: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?item_id=1842

Sorry for any confusion.

Also note that Collections are not purchasable with Gear Credits now, nor can that we "wrangled" directly. They must be purchased directly as offered today and there's no set timeline to offer them for Gear Credits so if you are thinking about waiting, I would go with what's offered today as these upgrades only run for a limited time.

The new CSR update has issues with the parameters. When you change a preset, the host parameters are not updated. similarly if you tweak a parameter on the gui, no update to host parameter. So any parameter change made via host parameters will cause it to jump. Is this a bug? It wasn't an issue before. It's a pretty bad one.

If you've reported to support and they confirm that it isn't just something specific to your system, the answer would be yes. If you haven't already, please start there http://www.ikmultimedia.com/support

Custom Shop only works while you are being ONLINE. I know of offline means (forum is down for me currently), but it's more hassle and I only remember it to work for AT3.
There's an offline method for authorization of Custom Shop plugins detailed in Chapter 9 of the Authorization Manager manual.
Why is there an authorization manager manual, and for f**k's sake, why are there at least 9 chapters for it? :?

Well, judging from the questions and people not knowing it existed it seems like your first question is answered and if you read it you may find the answer to your second question.

Jeez, what people say about IK threads is true! We get crap for having a detailed manual... love it.

Woah...I mean no dis-respect to anyone, really, but this appears to be getting out of control. 9 chapters to read? Is this an Italian thing, an IK thing, a general trend of the industry? I don't know, but things are getting way too complicated, burdensome, and time- and computer-resource consuming.

Am I frustrated? YES. Here, take my money, I'm ready to pay...but not this way. Sorry for the rant, truly I am, but I just had to say something. Something's not quite right with how these large organizations are going about the simple business of selling plugins.

Have you perused the manual? While you may not need some of it, there are others that will. Not every user is the same and again I can't believe we're taking crap for having a detailed manual. Seriously?

I mentioned this issue to peter and brian over a year ago, but they have not yet addressed it. It occured since version 3.5.1 of t-racks, and affects all the plugins.

Did you log it with technical support? Please let me know if you have that ticket number and I'll have it looked into directly.

Great, so now that CSR has adopted T-Racks behavior, then CSR gets to benefit from this problem too... well isn't that awesome. I'll definitely not be keeping it if this is the case. A year of the issue already existing in the other software doesn't bode well.

Again, if Tech Support is aware send your ticket number(s) and we'll see what's going on. We've addressed other issues and if there's a true bug we'll address that too.

You or Brian said that a year ago too. Anyways, I've moved on, as I got tired of waiting for a fix..
