This is very cool

just bought it. Easily the best iPad/touch interface I've come across yet for a granular synth - very intuitive and powerful but also tactile and fun

Interesting! I haven't done much with granular synthesis, but it does look cool. The developer looks to be brilliant!

I like this one very much, but still wish you could load new files via Dropbox, or iTune file sharing.
Right now I believe the only way to load new sounds is by creating a playlist. The problem I have with that, is that I don't want my iTunes library filled with anything other than music.
I'm still holding out hope, but at this point I doubt it will change.

Yes I hadn't realised that till I tried to load some new sounds - that is a pain but hopefully he will make it easierelxsound wrote:I like this one very much, but still wish you could load new files via Dropbox, or iTune file sharing.

This would be cool, although one of my favorite features is turning the gravity option and then simply playing around. I'm guessing this wouldn't be so easy to simulate on a desktop version. I don't want to be negative here, especially since this developer seems to have a very creative approach to working with audio, but I'm more just wondering if this would be addressed in a desktop version.aMUSEd wrote:Oh yes, looks like he's developing desktop versions too

It would be cool if you could control the desktop version with the iPad version (like with Alchemy and Alchemy mobile)

I use the desktop version in nearly all of my tracks...it's that good!!! I don't know if he's still "developing" the desktop version...but I managed to get it running on my Mac (you've got to install a bunch of drivers to get the audio working...it's very un-mac likeaMUSEd wrote:It would be cool if you could control the desktop version with the iPad version (like with Alchemy and Alchemy mobile)
I'm hoping he adds audiobus support in the iPad version!!! That would be amazing.

I just downloaded the zip for what appears to be the OS-X version but I can't see anything resembling an app in there.
