Not sure here, but any chance that the key is somehow on the DVD?

If you mean printed or on a sticker applied to the DVD, well... No I checked for that, but no product key is visible anywhere either on DVDs or on the documents in the box, or the DVD case.

Very odd, they have a boxed product without a product key. My guess is this is a packaging error, they probably forgot to add the most important part of the package, the 'Product Key'

I guess I will have to contact Presonus and/or my Dealer to assist me with this issue.

If you're posting on the PreSonus forum you have a user account and your product keys should all be listed under the software on your user account there, assuming you actually registered the software a year ago when you bought it.

Where did you buy if from? You probably have a product key in a one year old email somewhere.

Hi,

I just opened the box, over a year since I purchased it, so, I did not register, but was hoping to do so yesterday when I finally did open the box. But there was no Product Key in the box. I have a forum account, but no product registered in it.

Isn't the 'Product Key' supposed to be in the box ?

I will contact Presonus and My Dealer (Sweetwater) on Monday , hopefully they will be able to fix this issue.

There should be a separate product key code card in the box. If it isn't there you got a problem.

Is there any chance it is in the manual/quickstart guide or something of that nature? Also, any chance that you bought it online and that the code was sent from purchaser?

I thought of that, but I think I have erased my emails from last year, and I have not made a copy of it on my drive. So... maybe my salesperson at Sweetwater might have a copy of that email. but I don't recall if the email had the product key.

Hopefully I will get this sorted out by Monday.

While I wait for my S1-Pro v2 missing Product Key issue to be sorted out, I have this to discover, Just received it today :

Lots of new features to checkout in Cubase 7 (Upgraded from 6.5).

My Studio One Pro v2 product Key was emailed to me a year ago when I purchased the boxed unit.

But since I erased my 2011 emails, I wasn't able to retreive it, and thought they might have it in the box, but I guess since I purchased the crossgrade boxed version, it seems they do not put the product key in the box.

Anyway, All is OK now ! The Product Key was emailed again to me by my dealer (Sweetwater). So, I will be able to install it, and discover S1 Pro V 2.5. I'm sure I will like it a lot

btw, lesson........don't erase your emails from past purchases. Not everywhere has the same awesome service as Sweetwater
