Hi,

Unfortunately that offer is no longer available - it was a special promotion to raise money for charity, although we are continuing to donate 50% of sales to Greenpeace.

If you are interested in more sounds for Alchemy Player but don't want to spend a lot of money, a little bird may have said to wait a couple of weeks. But you didn't hear that from me!

Whatever wait you were, um, not describing here, I wonder if the change being hinted at will occur within the time limit of the sale price of Alchemy, which expires on the 15th of October. It would be nice to combine the offers.

Or, alternatively, it might be a bit greedy of me to think that way... I hope not...

Andy, I did wait a couple weeks. Did anything ever come of this? If it did, I never noticed it. What might I have missed?

Sorry about that - our plan was delayed but it's not forgotten. We'll post in our forum and send out a newsletter when as it's ready. Basically when Alchemy Player v1.5 is officially released, soon

After waiting as you recommended, I went ahead and bought the full version anyway. I've been enjoying it very much, as everyone else does...

Is there a difference between Alchemy Player and Alchemy Player CM?

If there is a difference, will Alchemy Player CM also be updated to v1.55?

they are the exact same with the only difference being the CM logo on the gui and the CM version is being updated any day if it hasnt been already. I was advised to just install the newest Player over the CM version and it worked good

OK.

You didn't loose any of the CM patch content when you installed the v1.55 version?

hmm thats a good point, i dont recall and im not in front of it so i cant confirm if the presets carried over. but the player itself is the same im sure of that.

The Alchemy + Player installers never delete anything. As long the v1.55 update is installed over the existing v1.25 CM installation, you will not lose any of the CM presets.
