Anybody uses or knows this mixer? Is it good quality?
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/302USB.aspx
I like the USB connectivity and don't need the extra ins of other mixers, since most of my gear is USB connected or VSTs...
From Bringer site:
Free audio recording, editing and podcasting software plus 150 instrument/effect plug-ins and ultra-low latency driver downloadable

If I add this mixer into system, does it introduce any noise?
TIA

I have a similar mixer from Behringer. It's a nice little mixer that does the job with no discernible noise for my needs.

The only gotcha with this particular mixer as an audio interface is it is limited to 16 bit/48 KHz.

I've got something similar and it's OK. My only complaint is the lack of routing options.

Thanx for your input, appreciate it :)

Might be related- I have the Behringer Guitar Link interface, it's just audio in/out, but the ASIO driver skyrockets the cpu when at low latencies, the lowest I can get w/normal cpu is like 7ms in/30 ms out.

I use it with asio4all successfully, just did actually. But they don't tell you the "ultra" low latency comes with a huge price.

Thank you guys and gals for feedback, I actually ended up with this: http://altoproaudio.com/products/zmx52

Everybody was telling me they are much better built/quality, then similar Behringer and I got one "like new", second hand for 20 euros...

Have good weekend

Hey people, I think I bought the wrong card for my usage, you see I'm a keyboardist who only uses his laptop and an m audio usb controller..The thing is, that I thought that this would be useful to send my audio out directly via usb to the PA system or something, and also have some headphone monitoring, but the thing is that this mixer doesn't work with ASIO4ALL drivers, so i'm having a massive latency problem, which I don't know how to solve! A little help please! :(

Do some homework before you pay $40 + P&P again.
Look for an interface that does have a proper Asio driver. That would probably mean you're in the > $100 territory :-P

What sample rate and bit depth does the 302usb support? It appears to be class-compliant, so I assume it should work with an iPad.

EDIT: found it in the manual, it's fixed at 16 bit 48 khz.

Behringer's low-end equipment all seems penny smart, dollar stupid- it's very much "good enough" for what you're paying, but comes with serious limitations. I mean it's better than those janky little aluminum phantom bricks on amazon... but, 16bit@48k, no real drivers(the official drivers were so much worse than the windows default ones they stopped distributing them... the best code minimum wage can buy)

The software on their website is a DAW that's redundant when you can already use Reaper and a pack of free vsts you can already get right here. If you really want it, you can just download it because it's freeware. The fact they tout that as a feature when their competitors e.g. Scarlett bundle real non-gratis software like ableton with their interfaces should tell you something about them as a company.

If you have any commitment at all to what you're going to be doing with the interface... get something better, because you'll eventually have to anyway.
