what a clever campaign...bummed I missed the Alpha Comp! Maybe we can organize a "back by popular demand sale" request...anyone else in on that??kylen wrote:I guess folks have seen this already - today is Elysia Alpha comp day - $119 U.S. - no brainer for me - I've been following it for a long time. I know $ales, $ales, I had to scrape together something for this one though...
A different sale every day.

This is my demo to do list (can start tomorrow evening, hopefully):bmanic wrote:Same here.. it is absolutely awesome! Damn!!! There goes another chunk of money.awol9000 wrote:Great. Now I'm checking out Twin Tube as well.
- FF Saturn
- TB ReelBus
- SPL Twin Tube
- Wave Arts Tube Saturator (well, if I got it to run on Win 8...)
Since I'm afraid the Twin Tube is on deal before I could have checked them all, would somebody mind to drop some words on the boys?
Saturn seems to be the leatherman in this realm and ReelBus a no-brainer anyway.
But how about the tubes?
Cheers,

I can say that Twin Tube is amazing.
I tested out Saturn, and ended up not getting it, not sure exactly why.
but I'm going to pick up Twin Tube as soon as it's on sale. What it is doing to my tracks is pretty sweet.

oh yeah! for the right price I would have bought it, but not to do the same things Twin Tube is doing to my tracks. I like how I can emphasize the parts I want in a sound with it.hibidy wrote:Cuz that SOB hibidy wouldn't sell it, what a jerk he isdusted william wrote:I can say that Twin Tube is amazing.

They should bring all the deals back on the last day, or an additional day.
I'm just not in the market for $100-ish plug-ins, even if they normally cost two to three times as much. A $100 plug-in for $25 to $35? I'll think about it.
I'd probably grab Attacker for cheap. I already got it for free a few years back, but it's locked to one machine under the old Pace challenge/response system.
My only purchased PIA(PA?) plug-in is the meter that I got for about thirty bucks on sale and using a survey voucher.

If it's something I'll use all the time, I'm not bothered.
mpressor is not purchased yet, but looks to be a good choice. The maag eq was just TOO useful to pass up. I can use it on everything if I so desire
It's fab on bass, drums, guitar (especially guitar) pads......anything. I was worried that with fixed frequencies it would be too limited, that's just not so.
Hmmmmmmmm. I'm demoing "boom" and it's not really super duper so far. I think would have to be on sale to like it. I keep thinking it should be free

Oh yeah, I still have a hangup about buying comps when I got the vintage comps with the NI deal
I keep asking myself......do you NEED another compressor????? (of course the answer is yes! hehe )

OMFG...........I shouldn't have tried it.hibidy wrote:Bad timing on todays plug. I watched the viddy and it's really nice looking but I'm not ready for it. Shame, it's a wonderful price.
Ok. Load the plug in. Capture. Turn the threshold down, turn the make up gain up......have a hanky handy, you'll cry like a baby.

I don't even know what the hell I'm doing with it yet. This is just extreme volume boost with limiting.
