So. After carefully testing and checking and then buying, now it resets every time I load it.

The Dynamic Spectrum Mapper? I just bought it and was hoping it wasn't too buggy.. even with all the warnings.

That same thing happened to me. I tested and tested, then bought it becasue it was only available for a limited time. I then found out about the 'losing can not saving the capture bug'

I thought maybe it was only MAC + Live thing. Are you on a PC hibidy?

The mac AU works with Live.

Also the rendering in other than 44.1, makes it lose reset it's capture. I have a video of it happening, you can clearly see it do it.

These are confirmed bugs that PA knows about.

We are aware that the current version of DSM V2 (v2.0.2) does not retain the threshold curve when re-opening your hosts in some hosts. Though this is not a general problem, it has be reported with the following host/OS configurations:

Ableton Live 8 (VST2.4), Mac OSX 10.x / Win 7 (32/64 bits)
Reaper x64 (VST2.4), Win7 (32/64 bits)
Sony Movie Studio 12 (VST2.4), Win7 (64 bits)

We will provide a fix for this issue as soon as possible. Please switch to VST3 whenever possible.

It is vst3 in S1. Man, I'm so mad at myself for not checking and triple checking

So the workaround is to save the capture which is a pita.

This is indeed a pretty damn massive bug. I hope PA is on top of it ASAP. It basically makes the plugin useless.

Will test thoroughly tomorrow at the studio. Such a shame as the plugin itself is absolutely awesome!

Na, just make a mental note to do the capture when you want it. All the other settings are good.

I had thought that the save bug maybe might be only a MAc and Live issue, but after hibidy's post I know it is on PC as well. I sent this step by step process to replicate this bug to them in late Octotober. They verified and know about it.

Here is video proof of a different bug. that they also know about.

I hope they fix this, and the save bug sooner than later.
