Well, the topic says it all I'm afraid :(
Matt, dev of NS has announced on his forums that he has no intentions or future plans to implement AudioBus in his app.
BeatMaker is the way to go now.
PS; I just wonder how his statement will affect NS sales ;)

do you have a source/link?

i couldn't find it in their forum...

Although i don't care too much cause i'm already using beatmaker

I doubt this will affect him. Nano Studio is a self-contained product.

IMO Beatmaker 2 killed NS a long time ago, when they decided to implement Virtual MIDI, audio Tracks, ACP etc... NS is since left well behind.
I don't know if they realize that most peoplevstick with NS because of the Eden synth, but with Audiobus coming everywhere we can now use whatever synth we want with whatever app we prefer go record, which makes NS even less interesting.

R.I.P NS.

Man that's pretty sad. I'm a big NS fan and up until now had held of buying BM2. If there is no audiobus in NS then I can see it not lasting too long on my now cramped iPad :(

---I really like the Eden synth and wish they'd make it a seperate app with one difference...get rid of Nanosync and make updating programs less complicated!

+1 for background audi or Audiobus.

i really like NanoStudio for sketching ideas, but I'd really like to be able to run Sunrizer & a Nanostudio Eden on 2 different MIDI channels from an external sequencer

I think with the infrequent updates, lack of Audiobus support planned, etc., that NS is just the wayward child project of the developer and is getting forgotten about. NS could be so much better and they could keep up and make it into one of the top sought after apps, but he really doesn't seem to care that other apps are jumping ahead in leaps and bounds. I was a strictly NS user for a long time because it was so convenient and had all the features self-contained to make a good finished track, but I finally stopped letting my BM 2 app sit and collect dust which it had been doing for a year, and start digging into how many features it has. Haven't looked back and now everything done in BM 2.

Never liked the on board synth/sample player keyboard in BM 2, but Audiobus and virtual midi will cure that.

Drum sampler in BM 2 can't be touched by any other drum sampler program. It has a ton of features and NS is left behind there.

With limited space on my 16 GB iPad, I went ahead and deleted NanoStudio last week to regain a little space. This news is just the final nail in the coffin--I'll probably never reinstall NanoStudio.
